Children's Ministry

As a part of the vision at Picayune First, our children's ministry exists to partner with families as they disciple their children and to help children discover their roles as influencers with the Gospel.

SUNDAYS

SBF Small Groups

  • 10:00am-10:45am in the Kids' hall in the LINK
  • Babies through 5th Grade
  • Age-graded lessons and activities with The Gospel Project Curriculum

Extended Session

  • Available during both worship services in the Kids' hall in the LINK.
  • Babies through Kindergarten.
  • Kids will remain in their respective age group classes during the worship time.
  • Kids will engage with God's word through age-graded lessons and activities and learn about some basic elements of worship.

Children's Church

  • Available during both worship services in the Chapel (most Sundays).
  • 1st through 5th Grades
  • Engaging with God's word in a worship service designed to help them learn about the elements of worship.
  • Our desire is to help children understand the importance of corporate worship and to apply what they learn in worship with their families on the Sundays that Children's Church does not meet.

WEDNESDAYS

Half-Time Kids

  • 6:00pm-7:30pm in the Kids' hall in the LINK & the chapel (August-May)
  • Babies through 5th Grades
  • Engage in God's word through age-graded lessons and activities. Currently utilizing the "Dig In" Curriculum about the Life of Jesus. Children will have lessons, fun games, Bible memory, and general Bible skills development woven through each night.
  • PreK4-5th grade children will also participate in Kids Jamz where they will learn about the importance of worship and have the opportunity to assist the worship team in leading several times throughout the year.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the Year

  • Watch for other special events designed to engage kids in different ways.

  • These events also partner with their families in their spiritual development, these events could include:

    • Kids' Dnow
    • Parent's Night Out
    • Vacation Bible School
    • Centrikid Camp
    • Crossover Sports
    • Kids Summer Jamz
